Hey Everyone,

I thought I get this started.  I'm interested to know what coin effects, if any, people are working on right now?  And, if you've performed them, what kind of reaction are you getting from people?

I'm currently performing a lesser known effect from Gary Kurtz called Body Heat.  Briefly, three copper coins transform into silver coins, apparently from the heat of your hands; one in the magicians hand and the others in two spectators hands. Further performances are needed before I decide to add this in permanently, but I like how it plays at the moment.

I've actually been getting more and more into coin magic lately. Just recently I decided to get farther into it. I might be going to Browsers den today, and if I do, I'm probably going to get silver surfing by (I think) Gary Kurtz.

Hey Cameron,

Glad to hear your getting more into coin magic.  There are lots of interesting sequences and plots in coin magic; and tons of literature on the subject.  Have fun with it and and check out David Roth's work if you haven't already.

I'm unfamiliar with Silver Surfing by Kurtz, let me know more when you get a chance.

I don't know if this is still active, but I'm giving it a shot.

I'm trying to work on my stage stuff. Get a full show together. A few small illusions, but alot of prop magic. I loved Greg Frewin's finale act, and Loran and Rocco's magic is the stuff I'm going for.

Any suggestions?
