Hi Everyone.  My name is Greg Tarlin.  I'm exited about coming to magic camp for the first time this year.  My wife Kristi and I will be teaching juggling and my two sons Jackson and Grady will be attending camp as well.  Fun for the whole family!

Kristi and I are both professional performers and have been for ages.  You can visit my website at www.notbadatall.com and Kristi's at www.buskerfly.com to learn a little bit about us.

If there is anything other than regular toss juggling that you'd like to learn more about at camp please let me know so I can come prepared.  Balance tricks like stilts, unicycle, rolo bola, etc?  Other props skills like hat manipulation, contact juggling, diabolo, devil stick, yo-yo, etc?  I'm happy to teach whatever you want to learn so let me know.

Looking forward to meeting you all!

Hi Greg,

My name is Josh Miller and it is also my first time at camp I am coming from England.

I am learning but can only juggle 3 balls for moment. I have clubs but can not use them very well. Wanted to bring them to camp but NO ROOM in case!!!!

But I am bringing LED juggling balls with me for night time.  Grin Grin

Hi Josh.

Don't worry about your juggling clubs.  I'll have a few extra sets with me.

I'll try to bring an extra unicycle along with me.  I should warn you that unicycling is not a quick thing to learn.  You need lots of time to get the hang of it.  I don't know what the camp itself is like either... if you have to practise on grass then it would be very very hard to learn.  We'll see when we get there.

Contact juggling certainly doesn't require a paved surface, though, so we can do that for sure.

See you soon,

Greg

I had to learn how to unicycle in a short time for a school play I was in. I only had enough time to figure out how to go straight.( I haven't attempted to ride it in a while maybe I should just pratice more! ) As far as the surfaces you will have to work on, for the most part it is grass and gravel if I remember correctly. There is a basketball court though which would be nice and flat for practice.

See you all Saturday.

P.S. I am driving to camp so I will bring my unicycle for anyone that wants tips on how to unicycle from you Greg. I don't plan on using it but I assume some kids would like to bring one but unfortunately they don't fit so easily into cases.

Thanks for your offer to bring a unicycle, Mark. If you've got room in your vehicle that would be great.
See you on Saturday.

Thanks Greg,

Looking forward to meeting you.

I have had a go before, but only went a one metre.

I am only allowed 20 kilo of luggage and my case weighed 6 kilo, so had to put evrything in backpack which is lighter!! and take out 1/2 my stuff!!

So no clubs, but juggling balls still in there.

See you there, I am leaving  for bus to airport at 4am in the morning (Friday) to catch plane.  Grin Grin Grin Grin
