Hello Everyone,

The holiday season is well on its way. We have a few quick updates
for everybody.
All our camp favorites are out on their holiday tours:

Murray Hatfield and Teresa are once again going right across western
Canada with the Magic `N Miracles tour. You won't want to miss
Murray's special guests this year; Juliana Chen, Darcy Oake and David
Kaplan. The tour starts on November 23rd in Etobicoke, ON.
Here is a link to the tour schedule:
http://www.murrayhatfield.com/tour.html The number for tickets is:
1-800-268-7371. Mike and I haven't missed a show yet…once you go, you
will never want to miss it!!!!!

Dick Joiner is traveling with the Shriner Fantasy Show. He is
currently on the west coast of Canada with Craig Douglas. Magic Mike
is leaving for an east coast tour with Greg Tarlin and Majinx.
The following is the tour schedule:
http://www.shrinefantasyshow.com/schedule.html.

Be sure to see their shows if they come anywhere near you. Definitely
stick around to chat with them after the show, they love to hear about
camp and see you.

Magifest is coming up quickly. This is the convention in Ohio that
runs from January 31 – February 3rd, 2008. Sorcerers Safari will be
there for our 8th year in a row. Steven Kline acts as our host, so
you know it's going to be fun!!! They have fantastic contests for
Juniors and Seniors too. Plenty of our campers and staff have won
over the years (go Canadians go!) and we always award a scholarship to
camp to a junior. The guests this year include…The Dream Masterz (Joe
and Carol from camp 2006), Joshua Jay and Craig Douglas, just to
mention a few. Here is their website:
http://www.magifest.org/ We always have a blast – so don't miss it!!

Magic Mike was recently honoured by being invited to the International
Brotherhood of Magicians Youth Committee and the Society Of American
Magicians youth board. We would really like the camp to have a big
part of this. You are the next generation of magicians! So, we are
looking for a camper to write an article about camp for many of the
different publications and on-line sites for youth in magic. We also
need some photos from camp this summer (along with
names and descriptions).

Please send us your favourite photos, and PLEASE do get involved by
writing a piece. Don't you want to see your name in the major magic
publications? Get started now!! This is all about you!! Get
involved. Don't wait until it's too late. We need campers to start
getting more involved with our activities before and after the camp
week. Who wants shows this season? Who can help out with the website?

Speaking of articles, did you see the latest issue of Street Magic
Magazine? They have a 2 page spread on camp from this summer. Be sure
to check it out.

Mike and I are trying to decide whether or not to run March
Break camp this year, March 10th-14th, 2008. Please shoot us an email
telling us if you would be attending. We are still working on dates
for camp next summer – so just hold tight and we will send an email
out as soon as we have them and are ready to except applications.

Well, that's it for now. Don't forget to post on the forum any
exciting news about yourselves. It's always great to hear what you
have been up to!

Cheers,
Mike and Jen
